Full-Time Staff: 30

Quantitative: 90 interviewers for face to face interviews (in home, street corner, business to business and telephone interviews. We have 7 field supervisors and our own Data Processing Department.

Qualitative: A permanent team of 10 moderators with over 6 years of experience. Several are bilingual (English, Spanish, French) and we have also a team of professional translators who regularly work with us (experienced in simultaneous translation). We have our own viewing facilities (rooms with one way mirror in Lisbon and in Oporto) and our own Recruitment Department. We also have a test kitchen totally equipped (ovens, stoves, microwaves, refrigerator and freezer).
We also have other technical equipment available such as TV, video, sound system for translations, video camera and video projector.

Specializations: Positioning and New Product Development, Packaging, Communication, Image, Pricing, Client Satisfaction, Consumer Typology, Business to Business, Mystery Shopping, Consumer Insight, Internet, Trackings, Category Management and Observation in the P.O.S.

Sectors of experience: We have experienced in several different business areas, although we may highlight the following: Food and Beverages, Automobile, Gas and Petrol, Cosmetics, Medical/Pharmaceutical, Financial, Insurance, Real Estate, Press, Internet, Marketing Opportunities, Politics, Personal Care, Household cleaning, Transportation, Telecommunications / New Technologies Public Services, Tourism.

On-going surveys/programs: 20 monthly trackings for mass-market products. We also have a Qualitative Omnibus – with periodical focus groups that include different sections to gather information for different clients – a good alternative when the client has a restricted budget and the issue does not justify a full research (frequent in communication / advertisement development).

Additional information: Motivação associates consulting expertise with sophisticated research techniques – these are always defined according to the clients needs and the specific objectives of the projects requested.
Within the basic methodologies used, our services include Qualitative and Quantitative, Semiotics, Desk Research, B2B and Anthropological Observation. Regarding Consumer Insight we have developed a methodology of our own – Illuminator – which allows us a deeper understanding.
Our clients include many of the major national companies (in different areas / sectors), along with the several international /multinational companies.
We have carried out work in three continents: Europe, America and Africa, with different types of target groups: children, teenagers, adults, seniors, internal company staff and specific professional groups (doctors, pharmaceutics, journalists, architects, IT professionals,…).
